[Zope] search: question

Hello zope users,

I need your help with search capability.

I have wrote custom zpt pages with some python scripts and zsql
methods. Page templates are for reporting needs to show statistics
about clients. All data about clients are stored in relational database.
I want 'search box' to search in my database too. What should I
customize/write to implement this? Or maybe there is better approache?
(should I write separate script to do search in db and not to touch
standard search?)

Any help, suggestions are very appreciated.
