[Zope] Zope and Databases

Do You have Oracle Client tools installed on the box that Zope is running on?  I'm pretty sure that the Zope DA will need to know what and where the database you are trying to connect to is located.  This information is usually supplied to Oracle Client tools via a file called tnsnames.ora.  

I'd recommend searching Oracle site for client tools for linux.
