[Zope] commercial versus open source

Hi Bill.  What you are comparing is apples and oranges.  Zope is is 
a web services platform-- and you can use products like 
Dreamweaver and Flash to add and edit Zope content-- and Zope 
serves it up to the web.  

They all work fairly well together, and you (may) need both-- the 
server platform and the content creation tools, i.e. Dreamweaver (or 
the web editor of your choice) and perhaps Flash (or Director etc...).  

Zope does have it's own content creation interface, which is 
improving, but is pretty minimalistic, and not something for the 
average interested but technology challenged teacher.  Motivated 
teachers and kids seem to do quite well with Flash and 
Dreamweaver.
