There are patches that I have done to ZSyncer "floating" around out 
there that make ZSyncer bidirectional.  I might able to find a simple 
patch to di ti floating around on this box right now ... but I've made 
some pretty heavy mods to ZSyncer.

I __really__ wish Zope gave you access to set the mod_time, though.
There was a thread a while back pertaining to ZODB mod_time and
"application-space" mod_time, and the need really for _two_ mod_times
on any object ... but I'm not sure what happened to that
idea.

Let me know if you'd like the bidi patches and I can try to find one
for you.
