[Zope] zclass propertysheets

the following one-line .py script returns '1':
     return(context.propertysheets.common.history.hasProperty('recent'))

when changed to:
     return(context.propertysheets.common.history.getProperty('recent'))'',

the result is an attribute error, with the following traceback:
