hi Roderick,

firstly, no code was attached to your email. try just cutting and 
pasting the code into the email. This is a plain text mailing list, so 
please try not to use attachments.

secondly, this is really a zope database question, which has its own 
mailing list. People here will try to help out as much as possible, but 
it helps us if you can post to the appropriate list, so the 
zope@zope.org list doesn't get swamped. zope-db@zope.org specialises in 
all things relating to Zope's interaction with relational databases, 
including zsql methods. the list of the different mailing lists is at:
http://www.zope.org/Resources/MailingLists

so have another go, and I'll try and help out :)
