[Zope] ExternalEditor/OpenOffice

i have some trouble with ExtrnalEditor (many thanks to Casey Duncan 
for this great product! it works with many editors ... and with emacs!),
if i try to use it with OpenOffice 1.0 + W2K + Zope-2.6.
I get the Error-Message: "Error launching Editor Process".
Does anybody know a solution for this Problem?
I do not want to install or work with CMF...
