[Zope] APE w/ 2.7.0b2 copying from ZODB to fs Storage

I'm running APE 0.7.1 on Zope 2.7.0b2 with Python2.3 on RH Linux 9

I am able to get a fs mount installed using the directions in components.xml and I can 
create items in the fs storage area.

However, when I try to copy items from a Folder that's in my ZODB and paste them into 
the fs Mount point, Zope appears to go into some massive memory allocation loop and 
eventually I get an out of memory error. (I only have 1.9 meg in my ZODB instance, 
about 60 items really)

I recall reading somewhere that objects could not be copied between mount points, so I 
did a .zexp import, but when I try to import I get "ZEXP import not implemented"

So .. How do I copy items out of a ZODB based storage and the fs APE storage?
