1)
Server:  ExternalEditor-0.8-src.tgz
Client:  zopeedit-win32-0.8.exe
Localfs: LocalFS-1-0-0.tgz


2)
Let's assume I want to work on file "paradise.jpg"
After updating the picture, I close MsPhotoEditor.
A PhotoEditor dialogbox appear with question :
"Do you want to save change to
tmpuvldaj-127.0.0.1,8080,phvfs,paradise.jpg?"
nb: I don't know what  tmpuvldaj stands for ...
I choose yes; MsPhotoEditor  disappear.
When I open again, no changes registered.

Some questions for you:

What version of external editor on and server and client? (client is
more important though)

You are receiving no error messages at all from either Zope or EE?
