And if you want to manipulate the value of one or several query string 
arguments use ZTUtils.make_query. Something along these lines:

    <body tal:define="mq python:modules['ZTUtils'].make_query">
    ...
        <a tal:attributes="href python:request.URL0 + '?' + 
mq(request.form, start=previous.first)">previous</a>
    ...
