[Zope] prob in connecting PHP gateway

Sir ,
      i cudnt find any method for database connectivity with 
remote oracle server with my zope. i use the server using telnet 
login only so dont have oracle client installed on my SuSE linux 
p4 system.

I tried to connect it via PHP gateway but its giving me the 
folowwing error when i click the view tab of Zope in my PHP 
gateway instance .

'/srv/www/htdocs' may not be a PHP-CGI program. The result from 
the program is empty(0 byte).

whereas that is my pache docroot for sure .

plz help me with both these probs.
