There is no need of installing that big monster :-). You can also
install grep for windows:

http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/grep.htm

or MSYS, which also has a grep utility and is even smaller than cygwin,
which I think isn't worth to install if you only want to use the grep
utility.
