[Zope] 'str' object has no attribute 'other'

I think it has something to do with the PageTemplate not properly 
(explicit) acquiition wrapped .

Try changing the line :
userProfile = PageTemplateFile("views/userProfile.pt",globals())

into :
userProfile = 
PageTemplateFile("views/userProfile.pt",globals()).__of__(self)
