I've got nothing against adding interfaces, the problem here is that you
didn't change ZODB, you changed a *copy* of ZODB 3.3 specific to Zope3.
This has nothing to do with the standalone ZODB 3.3, or with the ZODB 3.3
that will be used in Zope 2.8.  If Zope3 wants its own unique version of
ZODB, that's fine, but Jim can maintain it himself -- or you can <wink>.
