At the current moment, I use python.org win32 distribution, IOW MS build.

I understand mixing Borland built extensions with MS python could explain 
problems on edge.
Anyway, I do not get how sockets problems could be related to persistence, 
security or timestamp extensions ? But who knows ?

I am willing to build a Python with Borland compiler. Is there a distutils 
build for Python ?
