Well, this is because DocumentTemplate (for Zope 2) depends on Restricted 
Python and other components now. 

When I ported FTML to Zope 3, Jim ensured that I would not make DMTL dependent 
on anything else, which concludes that you might want to try the Zope 3 
DocumentTemplate version. ;-)
