First: are you sure you got one from the zope-3x-branch?

Guess you did, as stupid_build.py only exists in that branch, as far
as I can recall.

Hm, did you get a tarball before or after my checkin yesterday? I fixed
some bugs that were due to changes in the Folder directory hierarchy.
But after those changes Zope would start for me. So perhaps update
your checkout to one including my changes?
