Can you really not put the namespace identifier in a separate path
component. 

	http://server.tld/folder/container/--view--/index.html

This seems intuitive to me as the namespace appears to be another
'folder' in the tree (which it sort of is).

Yes, you'd have to back up with relative URLs to get to another
namespace, but that still seems to make intuitive sense and you don't
have to know the container name to do so:

	../--etc--/index.html

The traversal code might get more complicated, but changing the code
might be no more difficult than keeping up with this thread :-)
