Yes, we discovered and fixed this on Monday.  Windows CVS clients may have
to be talked forcefully into recovering, though:  if all else fails, blow
away the subdirectory these live in and let CVS recreate it from scratch.
It will work then (voice of experience, on Win2K Monday).
