It is not a relationship tool but yes, it is intended to be the guts 
that allow one to be built.  There is a long-untouched proposal for a 
relationship service in the proposal section.  I have some updated 
interfaces in a sandbox from end of 2002, and Tres has polished and 
implemented some of them in such a way that someone should be able to 
port them to Zope 3.

I know this is important to a number of people.  Someone just needs to 
have time to implement it...like so much else.
