Hello everyone,

In the last 3 days I spent some time (actually a lot of it) on updating the
Zope 3 DevelCookbook.

First I restructured the table of content a bit, splitting the introduction
chapters into smaller sections and converting them to "meta-recipes". This
was necessary to satisfy SAMS' cookbook series requirements. I must say that
I like the new layout of the book much better as well, since the introduction
chapters were too many and too lengthy.

Next I started updating steps 1-6 of the messageboard demo product. I was
amazed that I only had to delete two lines and modify one (removing
ContextWrapper references) to get steps 1-5 updated, which is truly amazing
after all these geddons. I had to do some more work on step 6, since the I18n
tools were not complete when I originally wrote the recipe. Besides updating
the code, I updated the recipe texts as well. Steps 1-5 are now complete
recipe draft; they used to be still in outline form. In step 6, I added a lot
of writing documenting the now complete I18n and L10n tools. Based on
Xerophyte's request I made an effort to document ZCML code in much more
detail. I also incorporated all other comments made in some of the recipes.

The result: Section C, "Content Components - The Basics", is now a solid block
of 71 pages of documentation!

What's next? I am going to work on Section D, "Content Components - Advanced
Techniques".

Regards,
Stephan
