[Zope3-dev] zopeproducts, yet again

I still don't know the best way to start developing custom things for 
Zope 3.  Since there's no obvious distinction (yet) of 'instance home' 
and 'software home', and because 'zopeproducts' just annoys me to no 
end (it being a CVS directory and package on its own right means that 
CVS yells at me when I don't want it to, and I'm still of the opinion 
that the rest of Zope 3 is so modularized - why is 'zopeproducts' 
taught as a top level namespace?  It seems like a special place to me - 
full of special 'zope3.org' blessed projects...urgh..).

Are there configuration options to add extra paths that 'products.zcml' 
(or ZCML in general) will look in to load new software packages?  
Primarily - I want to keep my development and Zope 3's development far 
away from each other on my file system.
