Hi everyone,

in a recent E-mail exchange with Roger I realized the importance of allowing 
mutable schemas to be provided by objects, which was broken on one of the 
refactorings. This functionality allows us to do a lot of very cool stuff, 
like having schema-based, manageble property sheets or user annotations.

Anyway, I feel bad enough about this and if there is enough resistance I will 
change it back. But I do think it is very important to have.
