I think Jim just proved it's relevant by the pain he endured to fix the
Zope3 checkout on Windows, and by not hitting me <wink> for giving him
feedback about how that was going.

I don't believe there's anyone at Zope Corp now who both works on Zope3 and
uses Windows.  So the community of Windows users really has to pitch in and
help.  FWIW, glitches in Zope code specific to Windows are *usually* shallow
(to fix, if not to diagnose).

Note that there isn't a single Windows community, either:  some work under
Cygwin, some in the native Windows environment, and at least in the past
some were trying to work under mingw, and others under Borland.  There's no
reason they *can't* all work, but every platform has irritating endcases
that get in the way, so they're not going to work without some real effort.
