[Zope3-dev] zope.app.mail and events

Hi,

a question about the package zope.app.mail :

I read in the doc string of interfaces.py

- - If mail delivery succeeds, an 'IMailSentEvent' is dispatched by the mailer.
  If mail delivery fails, no exceptions are raised, but an 'IMailErrorEvent'  
  is dispatched by the mailer.

I can see the events in interfaces.py  and events.py, but they are nowhere 
used.

There is no XXX explaining about it.

So what is the status ?

Are events just a relic ? Or is the implementation missing ?
