While not fitting with my basic idea of how ZConfig was intended to be used, 
it's not entirely evil, as ZConfig is inherantly good.  There is some basic 
structure, so a ZConfig configuration can be construed as a set of 
instructions.  Therefore, the executable bit is a minor smudge on an 
otherwise perfect configuration file.  ;-)

Part of it is that running what's essentially a data file fits my (perhaps 
archaic) notion of how to interact with a computer.
