[Zope3-dev] Component activated/deactived registration

With the new notification of registration activation/deactivation, we
now have numerous uses of isinstance where handlers have to check the
component type before handling the event.

Does any object to me adding a mechanism similar to that used for object
event handling? This would let developers register component
activation/deactivation handlers for specific component types, and would
eliminate the need to explicitly check isinstance.
