I don't understand the purpose of this registry at all, even after reading the purpose on the wiki page. Could somebody explain? I mean, reasonably, when you actually check if the feature exists, you check if it is installed on your computer, not if it exists somewhere in the universe, obviously it does that or you wouldn't check for it. :-)
