Don't know about plans. After a short discussion on the sprint we have 
agreed on starting with a very simple layout. It's not finished yet, it 
should contain those elements:

header
- Zope 3 logo
- username | login | log out
- search box

columns
   first column
     - breadcrumbs
     - the content area
     - some actions for edit, print, history, subsbscribe, ...
     - a by-line
     - a comment section
   second column
     - a simple navtree

footer
- ...
