Yes, and that's yet another reason why it's bogus ;-)

I think mode and content type should be independently controllable (in 
fact, I don't think the content type sent in the response is really the 
responsibility of the ZPT...) and I also think xml and html macros 
should work in both modes, unless there's a good reason for that not to 
be the case...
