Hello the list,

I would say my experience to install Zope3 on a Obsd box.
Please be indulgent, my english is very bad -)

Ok, go on :

I take a old Dell PC about 1 Ghz and 256 Mo RAM
Install OpenBSD 3.7 and install Zope zope-2.7.4 package this install
python-2.3.5 packages

I will try Zope3 :
I download Zope3-3.1.0c1.tgz (my OpenBSD box has no connection to
internet)
In root mode or in user mode, it's the same
/usr/local/src$ tar xfvz Zope-3.1.0c1 [ok]
/usr/local/src/Zope-3.10c1$ ./configure --prefix /usr/local/lib/zope3 [ok]
/usr/local/src/Zope-3.10c1$ make [ok]
/usr/local/src/Zope-3.10c1$ make check [pas ok, i dont now the command to
create a log file blabla 2>fic.log don't walk. Message : [...]
ImportError: No module named interfaces [...] and so one]
/usr/local/src/Zope-3.10c1$ make install [ok]
/usr/local/lib/zope3/bin$ ./mkzopeinstance -u admin:admin -d
/var/zope3/test [ok]
/var/zope3/test/bin$ ./zopectl sart [pas ok, see test_transcript.log]

If you want other test, i can

Perhaps i have not zlib, but i dont now if y have or not

Thanks for zope3, Philippe
