Helge,

I think your right, CORBA isn't what you asked for, I just couldn't help 
talking about it thought.  ;-)

I would imagine that the ZEO client server protocol could be adapted for 
use with other languages though.  That is were I would start if I was 
trying to build another language front end onto ZODB-ZEO.
