StandaloneZODB is a fairly old version of the ZODB product. I'd suggest you download ZODB 3.1.1 from http://www.zope.org/Products/ZODB3.1. Try again with the new version and see what happens. From your email, I can't tell how you tried to install. It should be sufficient to say "python setup.py install." Jeremy
