[ZODB-Dev] Perennity of ZODB format

Bonjour,

as a 2 years old user of Zope, I am intending to develop another kind of app
with ZODB. It goes about specifications and quantities management for
architecture projects (AEC sector).

I ran small tests on ZODB, without yet going in depth.

Prior to leave the old SGBDR format for investing on datas creation in ZODB,
I need to assess how easy/difficult it will be to migrate datas from a
release of ZODB to a newer one , when needed or requested.

> Q.1 Do you have docs about the ZODB datas-format : differences between
ZODB releases, good practices, roadmap, or whatever ?

> Q.2 I Will store datas partially in XML, or at least have to serialize and
tranform to XML.
   >>> Among the vast choice of Python tools for XML, do you know about best
choices for working in ZODB ?
           I mean, if it goes just about serializing, for example ?
