Ever-so-slightly-off-topic:
Ooh - the dps (http://docstring.sf.net/) project would *love* to hear about
this! I've dabbled in STX->PDF before, but found the reportlabs PDF
formatting facilities to be minimalist and didn't have the time to write all
the formatting required. The ReST format that the docstring project uses is
translated to a DOM structure that should be a doddle to then translate into
reportlabs input. I've already done a writer that turns basic ReST into PDF
slides using pythonpoint. We've switched over the documentation for roundup
(http://roundup.sf.net/) to use in with great results already. Oh, for PDF
output too! :)
On a much-more-on-topic-note:
dps/ReST rules, BTW. Has anyone done any work in getting it into Zope3 yet
(my Zope3-fu is seriously lacking, still, and I'd be happy to do the work
once I have the requisite knowledge...)?
