Some of the reasons for using Zope 2 for Zope.org would seem to be the
same as are being proposed for Zope 3: a chance to use new technology,
experiment and test. These are not the right reasons for launching a new
site.

Sure this site is not being proposed as a big replacement for Zope.org,
but I believe the site must done in Zope 3 for the right reason.

So this is a matter of re-organising the Zope 2 content rather than just
starting all over again...

> - Simple structure, like Plone.org:
>
> - About Zope 3
> - Documentation
> - User Documentation (ie - "Zope 3 book")
> - Articles
> - Downloads
> - Development
> - Zope 3 development Wiki (link)
> - Collector (link)
> - Mailing list (link)
> - News
>
> Right now, it could probably work just to have "About, Downloads,
> Development, News"

So if this is a pretty simple section with some content, why would this
not be part of Zope.org? If this content is on Zope.org, then a search
for "how do I do x" would show up for zope 2 and zope 3 and provide a
real opportunity to see the differences between the two. It would be
fast, stable etc...

If this is just a matter of making content available, this would be
quick and easy to do in the new Zope.org that Sidnei is working on. At
the moment there are too many sites within the Zope stable, cmf, dev
etc. as it is.
