[Zope3-dev] what is schema package status?

Hi.  I noticed a number of schema checkins, as well as a number of 
apparently unresolved questions and issues in the package's docs 
(readme.stx "Issues to be solved", interfaces.IField doc string).

- what is the schema package's status?  How cooked is it, in relation to 
the issues raised in the docs?

- Is there still discussion about integrating the schema and interface 
packages, or has that been canned?  It seems like it would conflict with 
Phillip Eby's schema work in PEAK, and perhaps other similar parallel 
efforts.
