Hello everyone,

Jim and I are pretty sure that this is the week of the first beta! Therefore, 
there are some things that have to be done in time.

Tuesday, June 1: All API-modifying changes should be checked in. We expect the 
To Do list to be done.

Wednesday, June 2: We leave this day as a buffer, in case something does not 
get done and Jim wants to change Zope X3 to ZPL 2.1.

Thursday, June 3: The beta will be released. After that the API will be 
frozen. I will make an exception, if the are changes that add to the API, 
like Gary's widget changes. However, this exception will seize once beta 2 is 
out. 

In general, the month of June should be dedicated to testing and cleanup work. 
There are plenty of issues in the collector and the spring cleanup wiki page 
points out several tasks that need to be done it terms of code cleanup.
