That's totally true. It's difficult for a commercial developer to find 
extra time to learn a completely new tool. One that isn't in any way 
connected to the main line of income.

However badly one wants to spend a lot of time making a better CMS in 
Zope3, it's pretty hard to justify spending the time doing so.

Even working full-time for a year without income would probably only 
result in a cms with 10% of Plones features. With the extra tools etc.

The only way to get Z3 of the ground will be to integrate it into Z2, so 
that we can start using it gradually.

Releasing Five "officially" as soon as possible is the only realistic 
way to get the ball rolling.

Even though backwards compatibility will be difficult.
