The main modification was caused by the elimination of the service 
components. Therefore all existing services have been refactored to 
utility components. The two most important services (utility- and 
adapter-service) are now integrated directly into the sitemanager. The 
dedicated presentation api was replaced by a more general 
implementation. For this reason views are now just multi-adapters to 
context and request.

I had only the chance to read Stephan's book yet. But for all that 
changes you will still find a lot important and actual insights. I would 
still recommend everybody who is fundamentally interested in Zope 3 
developement (python level) to read that book. IMO the best book I ever 
read about Zope.
