We have tried this several times.

See TODOLATER.txt for a long list of outstanding projects. In our experience,
assigning a who and when to these projects is impossible, since this is a
community effort. We have tried to do this several times and failed. Heck, we
can't even get the X3.0.0 release out of the door, because we not having
enough volunteers to do the final touches.

See CHANGES.txt for implemented features. As I pointed out TODOLATER.txt has a
long list of projects. If you write to the mailing list I can point out many
others as well.

There was work done on a branch to fix this and reintroduce it in the trunk.

Nicholas Seckar seems to work on that now.

This is there in SVN, but in a bad shape. This is actually high up on Jim's
list.

Up to people to finish.

I think there is not enough interest in this.

But KDE has many more developers and can therefore keep deadlines (which is
very impressive and unique in the OS world).

Well, I still think a issue tracker is the way to go, like I had setup on
zope3.org before. I need to update the old bugtracker and bring it up again.
Then it would be great, if you can help keeping it up-to-date.
